My Grandmother is staying in a nursing home that has some of the lovliest flower gardens I have seen. The garden tour is really designed to be a "wheelchair garden" with a paved circle that passes several different flower beds. In the middle of the circular tour is a beautiful fountain with a sculpture of doves rising out of the mist.
After taking several walks through the garden I decided that the peaceful nature of the flowers and water is as much a comfort to the family and friends as it is to the residents (most of whom are unable to go out on their own anyhow).
