Spring was just about upon us when Mother Nature sent Old Man Winter to remind us of tumultuous weather in Minnesota. We’ve had a recent cold snap delaying the daffodils and tulips that were braving their way towards blooming in my garden. We’ve been granted a reprieve and with promise of warmer weather some crocus and old friends are blooming and greening up. What’s up in your garden?

I have 5 amaryllis plants in full bloom
My hosta plants are springing up from the ground and starting to get full.
I will be planting 6 flats of pink Vinca flower plants next weekend.
and I have some pretty purple flower that comes up in my garden. This flower was there when we moved in and I have no clue what it is.
Preston I didn't know that regular crocus spread. I planted some a couple of years ago but they haven't done much but there was a winter that was awfully cold with little ground cover. I plan to plant more this fall.
Tracey I'm eager for my hostas to come up. I planted a miniature variety last summer and hope it survived.
Does anyone know if you're suppose to trim Joe Pie weed?
