Do you have anything "special" in your garden? Maybe an heirloom plant inherited from a grandparent, or something that doesn't "belong" in MN but has been nursed and tended until it thrived? Something unusual, smuggled in from another part of the world? A specimen that you cherish enough to dig up and take with you if you move?
Tell us about your garden's pride and joy!

Maura, foxglove is lovely. I've killed it a couple of times in the past (maybe planted in too hot/dry a site) but I'm nursing a small plant right now. Not sure if it's pink or yellow. Bleeding Heart is a wonderful plant for shade, I have two of them. I'm tempted by Wisteria, but they don't bloom for very long and need a lot of support. I understand that they smell heavenly? Until recently I didn't even realize that there were varieties hardy to Zone 4. I have a friend who bought 2 plants this year, I'm going to wait and see how hers do before making a commitment.
LOL, I just read auntie's note -- I'm the friend with the test subject wisteria. They're both supposedly quite hardy for Zone 4, and I have another friend with a 3-year old wisteria that looks just lovely. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Can't get a picture, as my batteries are dead tho.
