This writing prompt and the image brought back memories of another time and some of the joy that surrounded me in childhood.

I had two great babysitters... one a beatnik girl and the other was a flower child. So I have fond of memories of Goldie O'keefe and Sharing a Little Tea with Goldie.

I couldn't find anyone with rose colored glasses but remember them and later had and still do have some myself.

Just beautiful. This took me back to my teens and George Harrison my all time favorite Beatle.

That was agreat take. Hats off to you all that chose the house. That seemed really hard.

Since I lived at Haight and Lyon for a year back in 82 and then at Haight and Masonic from 86 to 91, in a glorious painted lady, where I had a top room oriole view of the world, and I could descend every day to psychedelic sobriety and the flashbacks that surfaced as a matter of daily living brought me back to the peyote button good times I had in the Panhandle in the late Seventies and the burning of incense and the bearing of ornamental goods always brought home that I had changed inalterably by remaining the same, chemical or no, its all the same, bliss in a blanket, Mime Troupe to meme dance, well Isis this reminiscence piece of a period I missed but not its aura has a special dazzle for me, a glow of local recognition as it were, and I thank you for it the way I thank John Lennon´s face on a button by my computer every day for being part of my pronoia. You write lovely and simple here, girlfriend, showing another vast recess of your labyrinth mind that can dance about us with glyphs and then serve us tea in a spare ceremony wearing your rose colored glasses to salute us all, thus charming The One I Love.

Had you not mentioned musicians now deceased, Isis?
It would be quite appropriate for contemporary San Francisco.

Keep in mind that the scene in the City is as you describe right now.
There's been a return to bell bottoms (my little teenage nieces wear them, as do I)
The beads, ankh, and peace symbols are in with the young ones as well . . . .
It's considered sophisticated, chic -- at least for the kids -- and they do set the style.
So, essentially, what you've done -- with a return to yesterday -- is to bring it right into today, and you did it quite well.
