I finally did it

I ordered my first set of CDs from Time-Life.

Actually I was watching the infomercial and didn't call the number but logged on just now to order them:

10 CDs called "flower power" - all the "best" from the albums from my youth.

When I had gone to the Whitney exhibit, we were loaned the audio guide filled with music from the era. I wanted to take it home...

Now I can! I don't often listen to music, but in watching the song names scroll up the screen during the infomercial, I realized I liked, loved many of them.

So, when I want to feel nostalgic... at least they'll be here.

Please let us know what some of the songs on that cd are. And what years do the cds cover ok?

Sounds like something I would really love to add to my musical library.

I used to LOVE the old bit that Robert Klein did in his early standup act... "EVERY RECORD EVER RECORDED! ! ! WE BACK A TRUCK UP TO YOUR HOUSE! ! !"

Reminded me so much of these infomercials.

And now Time-Life will never leave you alone. Seriously. They are baggage. I bought one CD and they've called, emailed, and mailed after multiple attempts to get them to stop. No matter what, be strong and be firm.
