Ah, a simple life of simple pleasures,
tucked under the cool, crisp sheets,
cats at my feet,  under comforter of down,
rear window open, spring breeze, a zephyr
blowing in, keeping cool my brow, my chest
that sputters, fatigue cannot be ignored;
only trick is to stay in bed, a life of simple
pleasures, a simple life, unmatched by all
others.

Ah, it means I was not in bed today, but here on Gather. Not quite in bed yet, but going there directly. Must stay off Gather, must stay in bed....for 8 hours, anyway. And half of tomorrow.

It was hard to stay in bed when the prednisone kept me up, but I managed to be in bed for more than 3 hours between 12 and nearly 4 and then again until nearly 6. Will be back in bed again soon, until 10 this morning....Feeling a lot better today. And today is mostly errands and housecleaning....

ah the blankie. Love that blankie. Up for a few minutes and still dizzy, so I have to call the doc. If I am 'lucky' I won't have to go to work tomorrow. I could really use the additional rest.

Ah yes, and back to bed, again. I love the cool air. Only one in my family (except for my son) who loves a cool breeze any time of year, except when it is below 40 degrees.

Harley (the black and white dog you commented on) was part boxer part moose lol. Or possibly Peterbuilt lol. Actually, she was a boxer...they say that there is no such thing as a "black and white" boxer...they give it some other term...but I'm a practical person and I call em like I see em....she was a black and white boxer lol.
