Dexter S. posted an article on "Yesterday's Gold" re the Andy Griffith Show that made me think of another old TV show, Rod Serling's "The Twilight Zone."
There were so many good actors on that show that moved on to careers on the big screen. What was your favorite episode, & who were the actor(s)?
My favorite was the one with Barbara Bel Geddes where she killed her abusive husband with a frozen leg of lamb, & then served it cooked to the investigating detective (I think it might have been Lee J. Cobb) who was looking for a hard, blunt instrument as the murder weapon.

i loved the one with agnes moorehead living alone in the middle of nowhere when the spaceship lands on her roof. she carried that entire episode without saying a word.
Gig Young goes back to the merry-go-round. Dennis Hopper as the Hitler facsimile. Wow, I didn't think I knew it that well.
I think Richard Egan was in the one where the aliens provoked the sedate suburban neighborhood by sewing the seeds of mistrust.
