Ruthi's Sunday post - Summer Leaves reminded me of a portrait that I did of my boys.

A simple walk into the woods up in Maine, created an image in time.

Brotherhood

Brothers bonded for life,

Standing tall,

Protecting like trees.

Sharing similar traits in all.

 

The heart grows fonder with age.

Embracing responsibilites.

Protector of heritage.

 

Shedding old leaves.

Springing new.

Forever friends.

Time transcends.
