For jazz fans out there, this is an excellent album of jazz music by a great artist. It is one of his older albums, but it is a collection of great music. The album features, along with Lee Ritenour, such artists as: Dave Grusin, Yellowjackets, Djavan, Phil Perry, Eric Tagg, Marcus Miller, Ernie Watts, Harvey Mason, Joao Bosco, Paulinho Da Costa, Omar Hakim, John Patitucci, Anthony Jackson, Abraham Laboriel, Richard Tee, and David Foster. I got this album because I am a jazz fan, and it replaces a cassette that I have by this same artist. You see, when I started building my CD collection, I made a list of various artists whose cassettes that I had that I wanted CDs by. Lee Ritenour was on that list. And I really love the album that I got.

The first track, Early A.M. Attitude, is a particularly excellent, lively, perky, upbeat tune. Also, I like tracks 5 & 6 too. Another particularly pleasing track is #8, and the song "Is It You". But there just aren't any bad tracks on this album. They're all really great, very lively yet very pleasant. And very good listening.

In conclusion, I would just like to say that altogether, this is a most excellent album that collects some of Lee Ritenour's best stuff on one CD. It makes for a very pleasant and delightful listen. Most definitely recommended as an addition to the music collection of any jazz fan, and especially of Lee Ritenour fans.

By the way, Lee's latest album entitled "Smoke N Mirrors" was supposed to be released August 22nd according to his website. So, if you don't have any Lee Ritenour music in your collection, your might want to go out and add one today. I really don't think you will be sorry.
