The other day after almost of 30 years of being married and spreading margarine on his bread, my husband announced that he was not going to eat another spoonful of margarine. He had some on a roll that day and it about made him gag. (I guess his taste buds have changed) Considering the price difference I was surprised. But I cheered inside. I hate margarine, even Becel. I decided some time ago that if I was going to enjoy bread and rolls, then I was using butter. Butter is all natural, and the cholesterol is not as horrible as proponents of margarine would have you believe. So now we both eat butter in moderation!
What do you use in your house Becel (margarine) or Butter? Or do you have another brand altogether ? I checked Wikipedia and in the United States, Becel is sold under the name "Promise" by Unilever USA.
