I picked up this question from a comment on an article published yesterday. I got curious. I've been here since August of last year. I've gotten $260 in gift cards. That means a little more than $10 a month. I'll be quitting my day job soon. I've heard rumors of much greater earnings or accruals or whatever you want to call them. Soo... How long have you been on Gather and how much have you raked in?

That may sound nice, but you need to consider I also wet myself after reading one of Roger's comments in JEANZ KRAZY KAPSHUNS or KRAZY KAPSHUNS ADULT THEME*. So deduct the cleaning bill from that, and it comes out about even.

But who can put a price on the love I feel in my heart for all my Gather friends?
The amount of time a person has to spend on Gather to earn a GIFT CERT is not worth my time and juging from Marilyn's note above, not worth it for the cash either.
Wanna share who you're reviewing for, Perle? :)
I sincerely hope this information is complete and succinct enough to satisfy your frogginess, sir.
Except for Frick. Wanna string him up tonight? Posse meets out back.
Winter is coming, and we have 13 3" by 5" 100+ year old windows upstairs that the wind can blow through. Home Depot sells windows.
Also, Joanne wants an edger and some Gather mail from friendly strangers.
I have earned less than 7000 points, total. 1000 of those points were a "gift" for being a "Founding Member".
In terms of gift cards, that would work out to about $110.00 total, or .1466 cents per day, or approx. $4.40 per month.
I bought a car with my last check. I'm thinking about a house with the next.
Ina, I'll be there. Tarring and feathering's too good for him.
Sandy bought a CAR with hers? I fell over when I read that.
There's supposed to be a full moon tonight! This should be so much fun! I know of the perfect tree.
Ina, I'll be there. Tarring and feathering's too good for him.

Peanuts. I think I'll join my brothers and sisters on 3rd street in the City panhandling, make a real living so that I can afford one of those high rise condos in the financial district over near Moscone.
By the way, it appears you aren't in the Bay Area at this time (???) The weather has taken a turn to the cold. I am so cold I am about to turn the heat on (I'm serious).
But since May this year, I've cashed in enough points for $100 worth of Omaha Steaks, a $38.00 designer bracelet from Crystal Light's promotional list, for donating to Step Up Women's Network. Still waiting on those gift certificates.
I also got an extra $50.00 Omaha Steak GC that I did not order so I am still waiting for Gather Member Support to let me know what to do next. I wrote 2 weeks ago. Should I just spend it? :-)
I still have enough uncashed points that I was invited to be in the cash out group. I guess this is the group of Gatherites who regularly earn at least 3,000 points a month?
If my points keep adding up as fast as it has been doing, I can go on a cruise soon and buy a car and house like Sandy.
But this is an on going question that I think we all want answers to. Personally, I don't put much faith in the hoopla behind the promise.
By the time I catch up on what I missed the last few weeks I'll probably have another $25 gift card on the way.
