400 Comments in One Day ...
... I just glanced at a new member profile ... they stumbled into Gather Land only yesterday ... or so it would seem from their member since date ...
They sure were a quick student of the ways to gather ... a mere twenty-four hours later they have bestowed over 400 comments while viewing photos ...
!!! WoW !!!
??? How many comments can you lay down on a good day ???

typically only a couple words ...
if that! Many were just "10"
Somethings get just a few words,
others get a page full of "it"!
I'm not one to C&P comments,
even on photos.
... though, after viewing a couple
dozen pics from one person, I may
be leaving very short comments.
On a good week, I might leave 400!
That new person won't last long. That new person will soon have a nervous breakdown.
I just love it when I see one of those thoughtless "Thanks for sharing" comments - so personal, don't you think?
I honestly have no clue how many comments I make every day, and it also depends on a lot of other things, some days I just have so much going on that I might not leave more than 10 comments, others I try to catch up.
I prefer to leave comments, rather than drive by 10s or generic messages, although I have done the DB 10 a few times, when I had my son sleeping in my lap.

I would love to this this kind of crap stopped at some point.
I don't know how many comments I do but certainly no where near 400! I vary in the length depending on my mood, the weather and what I am commenting about! LOL
Sometimes my comments are shorter because everything I would say has already been said in comments. Other times the words flow from emotions evoked from the images.
I wouldn't even waste my time responding to them. The majority of them never revisit the spots where they've left their crap "comments"; they're in too much of a hurry getting it to as many places as possible.
As you can see, though, I generally like to leave comments of good quality.

I checked her Gather page and she has 22 pages of comments and 1 game article ...............and just joined yesterday!!!!!
It has to be a record............

Wouldn't it be great if there were no points? I'm new this week and I think it takes away from the POINT?
someone has to have some kind of script - unless they are wound for sound with caffeine or other drug.
Or maybe a really bad case od OCD?
Whatever - if a comment can't be related to the image or words - it is just a comment.
I appreciate the eyes and the words - time can be precious for us all...

I did realize after doing the 2 for 1 comment thing that I can't comment as fast as other people seem to.
If I spent all day and didn't do anything else I might manage that but I don't have an all day to spare!
BTW - this member who has only 4 photos.
One of the comments on her photos is that they were photos stolen from FLIKR, bu the photos weren't marked for copyright violation. Since I don't have any proof of wrong doing, should I do anything?
