My already very stealthy 13 month old daughter snuck up behind her brother, snagged a green marker right out of his hand, and promptly stuck it in her mouth. A diaper wipe removed it from her lips and teeth, but her tongue is still a gruesome shade of green. Her gap-toothed grin has taken on a somewhat startling appearance, to say the least. Thankfully, they are non-toxic, and I am hoping it will wear off? The day could only get better from here, right?

So, not everything goes in the mouth and some marker on the tongue seems not as bad as it could have been.
I vote for taking pictures before it wears off - you might just have an opportunity to use them for blackmail later
