Go back 20 years.. it would give me 18 years with my Grandma, and 8 years to straighten my life out before it all went crazy. But, I'd still want to end up in the same place I am now. Just with a better head on my shoulders.

Well going back twenty years would make me ten so I'd probably take the check so I could get myself out of debt. But then again if I went back twenty years I could change a few things and not get myself in debt to begin with. So I guess I'll go back twenty years!

Hmmm, let's see... Go back twenty years with the knowledge I have now. I would be twelve years old... sheesh, I'd have to do my teens over again. That's scary. I guess I'm mostly happy right now even though I've made some mistakes so I'd take the cash. :D

If I could go back 20 years with what I know now, I'd take that hands down even thought I'd be 9...but I'd be a VERY wise 9 year old. LOL

If I couldn't take what I know with me in time...I'd take the money.

I am going with the consensus...

go back 20 years... BUT I would still have my daughter at 17,,,best thing that ever happened to me.

now if that check would have been for a a couple of million tax free, that would be a different story!

interesting question.... my first thought was go back 20 with my current wisdom because I don't need the $, but who knows how that would pan out? What if it turned out that the wisdom would be bad... you just never know! But I would like to go back and change/nurture/appreciate various relationships....that's the stuff that is really important and that we often don't learn until later just how important...

Yeah, that is interesting Mandi- $20k isn't that much money. I wonder how the answers would change if it had been $200,000? or $2,000,000? ;-)

I thought of making it more, but I don't know $20,000 sounded good at the time. Enough to pay some bills or buy a car or put down on a house. Maybe I should have made it for more...

If you memorized all the lottery numbers you could make millions, I guess, but that would change your life and maybe your would get in a bad accident and die in your fancy sports car....you never know and that is what makes the ponder interesting...

I would take the check. I have a feeling if I went back 20 years I would not have my daughter and I cherish that little girl!! If I went back I would not become involved with her father that is FOR SURE!

I can't go back 20 years and know everything I do now without being a child genius. I'm only in my 20s. I would also feel weird about the money because I don't like random gifts even if they are inheritance or something. And I certainly couldn't take something from someone I don't know.

I like where I am right now in this time in my life. The twenty years were no party,and there is no way I would want to relive them anyway, even knowing what I know now.
Plus, I don't believe in going backwards at any cost. So I'm left with the money, unless you want to offer us some other wish?

I would trade in both for this one: getting an exclusive interview with Isaac Newton, and being able to cover him for three days. So many questions I would ask. Part of the deal would be that he couldn't hold back, but ANSWER. That's worth the twenty years, and the $20k combined.
