Senility is Setting In

 

 

I felt rather peckish so

 

I got up from the computer and

 

I went into the kitchen where

 

I put the loaf on the breadboard then

 

I looked for the breadknife but

 

I noticed

 

I had forgotten to finish the dishes so

 

I put on my gloves then

 

I finished the dishes and

 

I wiped the counter then

 

I came back to the computer but

 

I wondered why

 

I felt so hungry having just had my lunch so

 

I went back into the kitchen and that’s when

 

I noticed that the loaf was unsliced and

 

I hadn’t had my lunch after all!

Oh my gosh, is that what is wrong with me and I am so young, you have just described me to a tee. It is a wonder I am not skinny, I forget to eat all the time, but I guess not often enough. Love the poem, great.

I just read something just like this about dog rescuers. I guess it's a common problem. And it doesn't help to tie a string around your finger. The only thing I never forget is to eat. I always eat.

Way too familiar! Only I usually end up working on 5 different things before I remember where I started.
