1. I will run to help others at the drop of a hat to the best of my ability. I try to keep a full tank in my car for this reason.

2. I will listen to others and give them my time when they are in crisis and let them use my broad   shoulders to cry on.

3.  If I make a promise, I keep it!

4.  I consider everyone a friend and stand in judgement of no one as I follow what Jesus said ("Love one another.")

5.  I am a good cook, so come by sometime for a meal!

Thanks Sheila and Sharon! I'm lucky to have friends that will run for me too! When I was in the nursing home last year I really appreciated the visits I got, it felt great to know people cared!

Is this the list with one thing not true? The only thing I would say may not be true is that you are a good cook! I only say that because I think the other things are true! or, did I read the wrong list?

This is the list of true things, I am a good cook and I make up many of my recipes. I cooked more when I lived in Pa. Today I made beef burgundy and there were 10 of us and there is some left! (smile)

Thanks William, No I don't cook chocolate covered ants nor do I cook dandelion stew, I'll have to see if Elsie has a recipe for that. But I do cook chili and I get high praises for my cheesecake. It is so addictive my mother in law said "Don't ever bring me cheesecake ever again," as she put the last piece of her second helping into her mouth one holiday several years ago.
