Gatherholics...

Gatherholics is now known as Unofficial Gatherholics, due to a misunderstanding some members may have had, thinking this was an official Gather staff group.

It is not. It is just a little group, well--a big group of 230 members of Gather members who enjoy Gather to the point of, well, being destructive at times.

Unofficial Gatherholics is the new name, folks. Its mission is the same: articles or images about addiction to Gather.

You know, 'I didn't feed the kids, the cat died.'..

Or any similar idea that expresses how our time or experience on Gather has somehow negatively affected other areas of our life.

Or positively affected other areas of our life, as long as we express this as Gather addiction.

You know, "I am so addicted to Gather, I wrote an entire book in my spare time and it got published!!!"

I had sent a mass email (oh, no!) the other day, thinking it was a message to group members only.

It was not. It went to my entire network, resulting in a long wait time to send, of several minutes.

During that time, I was concerned the email might time out, so I clicked three times. Or more.

Multiple messages were sent.

My apologies to all group members and to all Gather members who received multiple messages.

My apologies to all Gather members who thought the message was from Gather staff. (The email was from me, and I'm not on staff).
