Rush Limbaugh is a traitor. I don't know any other way to express it. Yesterday he was asked to give some words (300 I think) about the Obama Presidency and his comment was "I only need 4 words - I hope Obama fails".
What is wrong with this man and why are Americans (and you know who you are) giving him a platform to spew hate and destruction? He is now no different than the terrorist followers of Muslim extremists.
This isn't a game. We are not talking about the super bowl or some sporting event where we have a 'favorite' that we want passionately to win. We are speaking about America. Our Country! Our lives and futures! Our way of life!
Our country is facing serious problems that could end not only our world 'dominance' but could ruin our collective lives. We are dealing with huge un-employment, business failures, home foreclosures, recession and a banking and financial crisis plus two wars. And Rush says he hopes our new President fails. Has he no sense of how this could affect every American life? It seems to me the last person that wanted America to 'fail' was Osama Bin Laden and look what that brought us.
I think Rush Limbaugh should be fired. Now don't start talking about freedom of speech. I do believe he is free to say what ever he likes, but I am just as free to say that at this time in our countries history, we do not need the lunatic fringe hoping for and getting their minions rallied around the failure of our country and its new President. I for one will check out who the sponsors of the Limbaugh show are and I will surely start boycotting their products. Rush Limbaugh is a traitor and I will not support any traitor or traitor sympathizer. Isn't it time to start acting more responsibly. We've already had 8 years of Limbaugh denying a failed presidency - isn't that enough.
President Obama must succeed. Our lives depend on it. Our country's survival is at stake.

Hypocrites like Limbaugh are two for a penny but Obama cannot be bought and will succeed if the public continues to back him.
If enough people that see people like Limbaugh for what he is and call in the sponsoring services will put a stop to his slime slinging because its all about money not what is right or wrong anyway.
Wrong thinking though he may be, Limbaugh did not betray any previously professed beliefs and I seriously doubt that he hopes our nation does not recover from our present difficulties, He simply believes it should be done by means that more consistent with his narrow philosophical viewpoint.
Lastly, I will criticize you for having put me in the position of having to defend that idiot, but the right to express one's opinion is not a right that is reserved for those who agree with us, and I would be beraying my own beliefs if I did come to his defense in this instance.
He's the last of his kind I hope. I hope more peaceful thinking, and more progressive thinkers, have more pull than men like him....there will always be hateful people unfortunately.
If Obama fails, a lot more of us are going to be kicked out of our homes and without a job. Limbaugh may feel like that is a small price to pay in order to get a Republican back in the White House in 2013. I have to disagree. We better all work for success now, because if the worst case happens here we could end up in the middle of another Great Depression.
I do think it is ridiculous to hope Obama fails. He fails, we fail. Doesn't make mush sense to me.
Boycotting his sponsors is a fine idea. He should be practicing his freedom of speech standing on a soapbox on a street corner somewhere (where it would be far easier to smack him in the forehead with a rotten egg, tomato, or stilleto- heeled shoe).
He is a brilliant marketer to a very select demographic as evidenced by his earnings and longevity. Boycotting his sponsors will be an ineffectual protest -- except to those sponsors that have multiple interacting constituencies to sell product.
I don't find Rush Limbaugh's analysis to be well constructed.
We should be aware, that there are the anti-Limbaughs, who would advocate free speech and advocate violence against those that exercise free speech. (i.e. "He should be practicing his freedom of speech standing on a soapbox on a street corner somewhere (where it would be far easier to smack him in the forehead with a rotten egg, tomato, or [stiletto]- heeled shoe). -- Paul G. 22 Jan 2009, 3:41 PM EST). So, everyone should keep there eyes open for the rise of a reactionary left.
I hope for the rise of a radical center.
If you would like to tell his sponsors what you think of his unpatriotic, anti-American statements like this one, please visit the following page:

And for people who never hesitated to be vicious hater's of W. to complain about --criticism of Barrack Hussein Obama shows how infantile you are.
You hear what you want to hear. I hear something else. What I hear is Dumbaugh saying that he would be pleased as punch to see another successful terrorist attack on American soil--one that killed and maimed several thousand more innocent American citizens--because it would make Barack HUSSEIN Obama look bad.
Or, that he would be delighted to see several million more Americans lose their jobs and homes during the next four years, since that would prove that Democrats can't govern the country any less disastrously than the Bush/Cheney cabal did.
Rush is a drug addict so what do you expect.
Rush and Ann really show why the Right must be kept in check.A bunch of crazies!!!
Say, it again Rush ...... we dont agree with Bammys policies...
The left called George Bush every name in the book. But shame on anyone disagreeing with Obama.
Our former president has been bashed the whole last year or two. I think Rush hopes that liberalism fails, not that Obama falls on his face. After all he is now leading this country. I hope he can pull off what he hopes to. I don't think throwing money at us from all directions is going to help the economy.
It is amazing how people sulk for even trifles. For a mere say (yes 4 words), I do not see how one would have wished harm to either Obama or the US. Well, he must have had pun behind his say. Future US policies will definitely give colour to his words. ‘Cause, any act or decision to upset the apple cart borne by the erstwhile President would only dampen the resolve of people seen as sworn enemy. US must realize, besides the extremists who are at the other end, there are even nations of greater significance and who could wish US harm. US may be able to appease one side (terrorists or the Muslim world) but then such a decision could tilt the balance the other way and let go the apple-card so dexterously guided hitherto by the erstwhile regime (I would not take Ex-Prez.GB’s name for a break).
Incidentally, Rush Limbaugh’s words would have greater significance mindful of the fact that more than Obama’s failure, it was a craving for realization that the erstwhile regime too was not that bad, but that the majority of US could not perceive the need to see reality.
The present world and US situation is not the child of wrong decisions by the old administration, but the outcome of events which would not have been any better the other way either. The two outside wars fought by US were not the result of wrong steering of the nation, rather it was the ultimate that could have been done to save US from ultimate destruction. That with a sagging economy US still stands to command in or outside US is proof that hitherto decisions were within the barriers of safety and security of US. It is really sad that the media and the Americans have failed to perceive the reality, which perhaps time will tell. Till then, caution is the best way out of the mire of destruction and devastation and it would only be appropriate to wish Obama succeeds in the end. But till such a sunrise, let us keep our fingers crossed.
If Obama succeeds, we all succeed. If he fails, we all fail. Any moron who can't understand that is undeserving of the privilege of living in this country.
Obama is a new light to make America shine again.
A world where one opinion is all that we are allowed is one where you'd better hope to agree with only those in power.
Geez
There's a big difference between the two.
I'm no big fan of Limbaugh, but I know that the far left and the far right both love to take statements out of context in attempts to discredit their pet punching bags.
