Obama has come out and said that he will not do negative campaigning and has come out against 527's doing it for him. McCain, when the issue came up in north Carolina against Obama by the Republican Nat'l Committee, McCain said he didn't agree, but just can't stop others from doing negative campaigning....sure.....

McCain is liberal enough to catch some of the swing vote, and I honestly belive that he will be our next President.

The 527s on both sides will continue to do outrageous things. The 527s are one of those unintended consequences of campaign finance reform.
I hope the candidates will come up with something more intelligent than "Obama will raise your taxes" and "McCain will be four more years of Bush". McCain's idea of a series of town hall meetings is a sensible proposal.
