Just finished watching the debates

I would call it a draw. When you get down to actual positions/discussions on issues there is just not much difference. They both want universal health care but have a technical disagreement about the best mechanism to get there. In truth, the details will be hammered out by congress. They both hate NAFTA and want out of Iraq. The just argue about who hated NAFTA or wanted out of Iraq first.

I wonder how many people watched the debate vs American Idol and what a commercial cost on each program.

You won't learn much about the candidates listening or watching them debate. Find out where they get their money. That will tell you who they will represent.

I watched the debate and my only comment is how they asked the question about Farakan and his endorsement of Obama yet ignored the yellings of O'Rielly who I feel carries much more weight than Farakan in that he is on the airways. Other than that the debate was at best tepid.

Neither. Although I began watching the debate, they both seemed so insincere that I had to turn it off after 1/2 hour or so. I am actually intent on voting for one of them, and I know which one, but I was very disappointed with both of them.
