I recently posted a poll and it surprised me to see how many people wanted an open primary. This means they can vote across party lines for anyone regardless of their own political party affiliation. As the elections draw closer, I find it important that people understand the political process and engage it so they make a smart decision come election day, April 1, 2008. Just kidding!
