In the coming weeks, I will be posting a series of articles profiling all of the major candidates vying for both the Republican and Democratic nominations. The purpose of this exercise is to better inform the populace of the many important factors to consider when deciding who to vote for.
First up: Mitt Romney

Full Name: Willard Mitt Romney
Age: 60
Claim to Fame: Serving as two term Republican governor for the Democratic leaning state of Massachusetts.
He wishes we'd forget: A lot of what he said in order to become a two term Republican governor for the Democratic leaning state of Massachusetts.
Celebrity he most resembles: Bruce Campbell

Why you should vote for him: As President, his experience of being a Republican governor in a Democratic state will prove useful since the next President will probably face Democratic majorities in both the House and the Senate. Romney has also shown himself to be quite the savvy businessman, where he has invested in, bought, or served on the board of many well known companies. Romney is also credited for rescuing the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Games, taking over after bribery scandals and $379 million dollar revenue shortfalls threatened to scale back the games. His business knowledge along with his proven track record of turning around businesses facing financial collapse could come in handy if the dollar continues its slide on the global market.
Why you shouldn't vote for him: One of the businesses where Romney served on the board of directors was Staples. A few years back, I purchased the wrong color cartridge for my printer at Staples and was not allowed to return it to the store due to the package being opened and not having a receipt. Therefore, preventing Romney from attaining the presidency is a way for me to exact some revenge on Staples for the $32.84 that they owe me. Bite me Staples!
Wild Card: If elected, Mitt Romney would make history as the first Mormon president of the United States. This is either a big deal for you or it's not, depending on where you stand regarding the glut of news stories each day focussing on whether or not Romney's Mormon heritage is a big deal.

I haven't decided yet who I will cast my franchise yet for- but, I know that I will indeed research the ones that interest me.
Thank you for a nice profile.

Now, if you would just stop using this forum as a personal vendetta platform or a thinly disguised ploy to get free office supplies, I could get on with the rest of my life.
he is a rotten liar. Among other things. Meaning, actually he lies well, but he lies. He is not at all the man you or anyone else thinks he is.
