Political Signs in Portsmouth, NH 11-4-07

We just had a bad rainstorm, but it must have started the signs to pop up. 6 more just showed up.

Ron Paul got another one, so he is at 7

Edwards stays at 3

Obama still has 2

Richardson only 1

Hillary has 2

Romney has 2 (One is huge like Hillary. Infact it is right across the road from Hillary's)

Hucklebee now has 1

and Mike Gravel has 3.

I love that some people care so much about their candidates that they show it. They don't worry if someone destroys or deface it. they are proud of their candidate.

Once while driving through town near an election I made a comment that I really did not understand the psychology behind putting up all the little candidate signs, I verbalized, "like anyone would vote according to the number of signs that were up!" It got deathly quiet in the car before my wife indicated that she used to decide who to vote for by counting the number of signs. Since then I have learned to stifle such outbursts.

Seen a few, have seen alot of signs about the war, numbers of people that have died. Seen anti gov. signs, posted in central oregon, which surprised me.
