Bill "The Enforcer" Clinton Strikes Again

It's about Chelsea (just so everyone knows). He may have a point but a letter from Chelsea would have been more appropriate.

Interesting take. I agree with Joe above that at 27, Chelsea should be old enough to fight her own battles! Even so, there are always two sides to every story, so something may have happened between Chelsea and the restaurant owner that upset her enough to ask him to take the pic down.

He is a father protecting his daughter's right to privacy and her right not to have her picture published and placed on public display or used for commercial purposes without her permission. If he had wanted to be nasty about it, he could have initiated the legal action and forced the restaurant to go to the expense of hiring a lawyer instead of mentioning that possibility if the request to take down the photo was not honored.

As for the GQ matter, Bill is not obligated to grant anyone an interview and the fact that GQ was planning to publish an article that cast dispersions upon Hillary's campaign definitely suggests that the contents of an interview article might be written in such a way that it could be used for similar purposes.

It is funny how the same people that bash bush for trying to keep things out of the press and supressing Free Speech (when there is no proof) do not have a problem with the Clintons doing it. Makes you think

What do you mean? The truth of Chelsea's existence? The restaurant may have her permission and if they can prove it, fine. It appears that this is the work of a father trying to protect his daughter. I would do the same thing regarding my daughters. What someone does with someone else's product is a very different topic than free speech, my friend. Don't be so ridiculous. I know you hate the Clintons. Still, there should be some element of integrity here.

GQ had a hidden agenda and the Clintons do not wish to be a part of that. How many times does it have to be explained? MDP - - - - - we could go round and round about the matter. I know you think little of the Clintons. Nothing will ever change your mind.

I have no bad feeling about Bill. I just think if you supress an article you should be held accountable

Chelsea is a celebrity, She posed for the photo, and the owner should be allowed to hang it on his wall.

If the Clintons didnt want Chelsea to be in the public, they shouldnt of become public figures themselves. I would think it would be an honor to have a picture put up under the Hall of Fame. I bet hes afraid that someone will put pimples on her face, draw glasses on her, blacken her teeth. lol

I thought we got rid of that A-hole. Hellery gets elected and we get Bill back? I would vote for Bush again to keep that couple out of the white house.

Bill did not say they could not print the other article, he simply said he would not give them and interview if they did. GQ had a choice and apparently decided that more potential buyers and readers would be attracted to an article about an interview with him. Certainly sounds more interesting than an article about squabbles between campaign staffers. Could be that the staffers were the ones who didn't want the article published because the squabble might reflect badly on some of them.

If you would vote for Bush again and insure four more years of what he has done to this country, you've got a real problem with Hillary/Clinton hate. The nation was in much better shape after Bill left office than it will be once Bush is gone. It may take decades to recover from the damage he has done.

I agree, she posed for the photo willingly, if she didn't want her picture displayed she shouldn't have agreed to let him take it in the first place. I don't even see what the big deal is..its not like its a racey photo or anything, she's just friggin standing there beside the owner smiling. Geez, Bill needs to get a life and let his little girl grow the heck up without interferring.
