Ron Paul for President

People keep saying that Ron Paul is a longshot for President. I believe that they are wrong.  He has spent 10 terms in Congress where he has upheld the constitution at all costs.

He is called the taxpayers best friend. Probably because he won't vot for a budget that is not balanced, and he even refused the congressional pension.

Ron Paul is a principled guy who I would be happy to see president. But he is a long shot. No matter how much you and I might like his strict interpretation limiting his own Constitutional powers, not many people agree with us. Equally important is the fact that in presidential politics, money and media attention matter. He's lacking in both areas. Don't feel bad. Lincoln would have no chance to be president if he were born in the era of television.

Yeah, but with only $2 million left, the McCain campaign is a basket case. Paul has $2.4 million, Rudy Giuliani has $18 million, and Mitt Romney has $12 million.
