Help with Different dog names

As alot of you know we named our New Great Pyrenees puppy Sam. Im am now rethinking that name. I saw online that its one of the most popular and used names. I think I want something unique that nobody else has,Something with some meaning maybe. He is a frence breed.

What do you think of these?

 

Yuki....Means snow and Hapiness in Frence. Kind of sounds like Pukie to me hmmmmm

Koda.......My dad thinks it kind of sounds Ghetto LOL

Yukon....I like it but its a long name and alot of people already have it.

Ki...or Kiyou........Its frence but I forgot what it means LOL

 

Or if you can think of anything please tell! Remember he is going to be a big dog so something that sounds big :0) I will still consider Sam if I cant decide.

Since I think he looks like a fluffy bear, how about Polar or Kodiak, which are both types of bears.

You have lots of good ideas. How about "Pause" since he will have big paws and people will also pause before getting too close to a big dog.

If Sam were a girl I would recommend DIVA! But since he's a boy here are some suggestions:

Pipsqueak
Dino
Angelo
Romeo
Sebastian
Snowflake
Jeremiah
Gitano

The ones that you liked are so much better, but I thought that I would throw a few into the mix! Let me know what you decide!

Meg seems to have cornered a few of the names I would have suggested. I get the feeling as he grows, Maximus will fit. (grins) Or Brutis. Perhaps Bear. Then again, you know as well as I do, you'll be calling him by 'cutesy' pet names such as Bubba or Woobies. (LOL) I think both my cats have at least three names...

I like Sam and Koda.....it is always hard to choose one and I tend to go a bit over the top.

My last two dogs were Henry David Thoreau and F. Scott Fitzgerald! They went by Henry and Fitz, but it was still a bit corny!

One of my Huskies was named BOHICA when I obtained him thru rescue. He had been on a military base, was a large loving dog and the name fit him. I believed it to be a native american name. Surprised to find out that it is abbreviation for military slang-- Bend Over Here It Comes Again! He lived up to the name in enthusiasm and energy! Loved him to the end! Peace!

I like Sam, but hey Koda is good too. Tell dad it really doesn't sound ghetto...only if you put a big silver diamond encrusted dollar sign necklace around his neck, then maybe it would be ghetto! LOL

I think the name "Snow Puff" is a good one. Or "Puffs" or "Pooh Bear" . . .

Shih Tzu, excuse me I have two
One Prindle, one of a beige hue
Bundles of fur and very cute
They ride up front in my sport ute
Bred to guard the Dalai Lama
In Tibet not in Somalia
Jingles came home on Christmas Eve
Di Nero three years later I recieved
I wanted to name him Tyson
'cause Jingles ears he kept on bitin'
My wife said I could not
So the name of a tough guy he got.

Thanks everyone for all your imput I appreciate it. But after alot of thought We thought that Sam fit him the most. So his name is sam. I will consider all these names you guys have came up with however for the female Pry that we will get soon!
