Our new puppy

 He's home! We brought him home last night. I was originally going to get the puppy in my previous article.the one with the dark badger  markings. But when I showed up This one stood out more to me. He was very large...The biggest puppy out of all of them.  At only 8 weeks old He's a giant! I can hardly lift him up. His dad was huge! And stood as tall as me when he would jump up on the fence. We named him Sam.

He will be an outside dog as soon as it warms up. But right now he is being spoiled rotten lol

Sam is, without a doubt, the BIGGEST 8 week old puppy I have ever seen! LOL! How adorable! Is he the one in the earlier article, kissing his mom in the background? Congratulations, Susy! What an exciting time.

Wow, what an adorable giant cotton ball!!! Good thing he's going to be a BIG dog, because he sure isn't going to run the coyotes off on his looks!!! No Junkyard dog there.

LOL Thanks everyone. He is a Great Pyrenees. The breed is originally from france. Used to guard livestock. Im not sure how big he will get. His dad looked like he was at least 200 pounds! His mom was smaller and looked to be around 90 pounds. All the dogs are getting along just fine together.Now Kip will have someone to cuddle up to outside on chilly nights :0)

Sam is really cute. He looks like a little bear. I didn't know great pyrenees had markings. I thought they were all white. You sure that's not a mix with a St Bernard?

Thanks everyone! Marianne Great Pyrenees sometimes have markings like this called Badger markings. Usually they fade as they get older, But sometimes they dont. The original GP'S from france had alot of dark markings. But not as many have the original bloodline anymore. Sam Is AKC registered so Im posative he is full blooded LOL. He looks like a Saint though doesnt he?

He is so cute. And very big, but adorable. Thats the kind of dog you want to guard your home. He looks like a big snowball. Again he is soo cute. We are thinking of getting another dog too.

What a beautiful, beautiful puppy!!!!! And so BIG! I wouldn't know what to do with a dog that big. I've never had a dog bigger than a German shepherd.

That puppy is 10 times bigger then my 4 y/o dog. *LOL* He is very beautiful and looking atht epictures seems to be a good puppy. Good luck with him. Your going to need to buy stock in dog food for this one.

Adorable puppy. I am so glad mine's a mix (and female, they're much smaller). I absolutely love my dog, and she has more than one or two Pyr qualities. They're wonderful dogs.
