Today is my daughter Zariah's ninth birthday and she is having a great day and got everything she hoped for. Mainly art supplies, music and hair things and pretty things. She is very happy.
Tomorrow is my little guy Gerrin's birthday and he will be three and he is looking forward to his party and me making him a "Tractor" cake. He is all about anything to do with heavy equipment and tractors, backhoes, shovels and of course he loves airplanes and helicoptors. He knows tomorrow is his big day.
Next weekend a week from this Sunday is my youngest daughter Halona's birthday, she will be 5 on the 14th. She was oohing and aahing over her sisters gifts She then started talking about when her birthday was going to be and what she hoped to have and the kind of cake she wanted. She then piped up and said. "When is my birthday?" Her daddy, my husband looked at her and with dead pan seriousness said.
"You don't get one this year, cause I sold it." She got this look of shock then a mad look on her face and demanded, "Why did you sell it?" He told her "Because you have been being naughty a lot lately so I decided I better sell it." She thinks a minute then said "Well I DON'T want to be four another year so go and BUY it back right now." "He said nope can't, I had Nana sell it on Ebay". Then he could help to smile and she saw he was teasing her and got a scowl on her face goes over and said "Daddy that was NOT nice at all to scare me, never trick me about selling my birthday again." We all burst out laughing.
He then tried it on Gerrin. Who looked at his dad when Les asked him if he should sell his birthday too. Gerrin put his hands on his hips, cocked his head and said. "Bad IDEA" LOL
We are having a birthday party for Halona at our church on the 14th at two o clock and I have my mom working on the invitations right now to be given or mailed out Friday and Saturday. So she is having a birthday party. I could use some ideas for a couple of games for 4-6 year olds about 15 kids. Should I have prizes for them and what kind for a few or all the kids? The cake, ice cream and juice is not a problem at all. She wants strawberry short cake. With Strawberry ice cream. So if anyone has ideas they would be welcome.

Happy BD to your kids.
My twin girls are 5, and they can't stand it when someone gets something they don't -- too competitive at that age. ;)
Sounds like a busy and fun time! :)
