earlier this week, the *cutest* little kitty showed up at our house. after feeding and watering him (he was so hungry) and watching him for a few days to make sure he didn't have a home, we took him to the vet. feline leukemia tested negative, so we got lots of shots and wrangled him back into the cardboard box (our cat, angus, was in the carrier - he got his shots updated, since we were going anyway) and taped it shut. yes, he is small and can escape quite easily.
lillie LOVES duncan. here are some shots of them the other day. what one did, the other followed. it was a hoot.

chasing around the sandbox...

chasing around the firepit and climbing the wood pile by the kayak...

looking in the mint for hilsburg (lillie's dragon)

looking for fish, turtles, frogs....

walking and playing....
it is so much fun, to see these two play together! welcome to our house, duncan!

I am not just flattering you; I really believe this.
thank you - lillie LOVES duncan. so much more than angus. poor angus!! ah well. a little kitty for a little kid is perfect. they can wear each other out! he's SO CUTE....
I'm nursing an injured pet this weekend. His wound isn't nearly as humiliating as the Elizabethan collar his vet prescribed.
