Thanks for the affirmation. I thought it was sweet too. On LYNN G.'s question... you know I'm not sure why I'm apologizing. I'd like to blame our culture. Americans like to be above it all, in some sense. We don't want to be seen as less than "hip" or "ironic" -- I'm sure I'm inflicted with a little of that.
Maybe I wanted to tickle that sensibility.
But I do feel lucky... as we all should for the gifts that come from a day being lived.
I take it these are your children. They're both darling. You never get totally used to being a parent. Even when they're adults ... they're still you kids and still exciting :)
