Synonym and Antonym were fighting again. It was their old sibling rivalry that fueled them. “What is IS the same.” Said Synonym.
“No it’s not! It’s the opposite!” Cried Antonym.
“Now you’re talking like Litotes from down the street and he NEVER knows what he’s talking about!” Sneered Synonym.
“They never did see things eye to eye.” Thought Homophone. He never understood his brothers having been adopted and all. He thumbed through the thesaurus looking for anything to distract him from his brothers’ argument.
“Perhaps I ought to write a right email to my representatives in congress.” He thought. “Nah, that never works.” Homophone got up and went to the kitchen to fix himself a cup of tea.
