I have been homeless with a small child, not because of drugs or alcohol but cause of a situation. It is so hard to get out of because people assume that you are addicted to something, in my situation I had to flee a domestic violence relationship, I lost my job, I has absolutely no where to turn, no family to help me, and I had a small innocent daughter that was depending on me for everything, I am now in a 100% stable situation, but I will never forget what I have been thru. I have had to depend on complete strangers for my basic everyday needs. Unless you have been in that type of situation you will never completely understand.
How can we take care of our state's homeless problem without becoming a magnet for other states homeless population? Then, a magnet for other countries homeless problem?
