Moby has a thing about small mammals. He either doesn't like them or he just gets mad at them because they won't come down and play. We can tell when he's found one by his distinct "psychotic episode" bark. Last night, I was putting down a new floor in the pantry and had the door open to the deck. In addition to the distinctive bark, I could hear his claws as he tried to climb up the sliding board.
Here is what I found when I went to investigate.

Getting these shots was tricky since I had to shine a flashlight on him with one hand while operating the camera with the other. I needed the light for the auto-focus to work.

He was surprisingly calm considering the frenzy the dog exhibiting. He was however safely out of reach.

He is sitting under a roof but he is wet from the rain. I tried to get a good frontal but he didn't want to look into the light.
