I wrote the other day about my plans for Halloween and promised you all I'd update you with pictures of my finished costume.
I haven't dressed up for Halloween for years and years and years and always wanted go to a Halloween party but it's just never happened for me. This year when I was invited to go OUT with friends I jumped on the chance.
I was really worried that I wasn't able to suck my tears over my mom in long enough to enjoy myself but I lasted a few hours before actually crying over her.
Anyway, we took our 3 boys out trick-or-treating and they all came back with a ton of loot! Oh my goodness we won't need to buy any candy any time soon!
I got home about 8pm and started working on my hair, taking an idea from a friend to use eggs whites and a hairdryer to make my hair stand up. After 30 minutes of putting this slimy goo in my hair and baking myself under a dryer, I gave up because all it did was make my hair sticky & crunchy, not to mention the fact that it was flaking all over me! Luckily my Becky got there and together we were able to get my hair to do what we wanted it to do.
SO this was my costume pre-makeup & hair...

Here I am all done up and out for the night with friends...

Oh yeah, this is my friend Becky - isn't she the cutest Queen of Hearts you've ever seen?

Here's my friend Cindy - she was a Strawberry Daquiri. ha

How was YOUR Halloween?

I haven't dressed up since Freshman year in college when my best friends made me. The girls did say that yesterday was the best Halloween ever and that was possible when we made abso no plans and didn't even expect to do anything at all. Go figure.
Of course what I thought was the BEST thing was your beautiful tattoo!!
Peace! ken
