Today she put her hand on my shoulder
My mother
Who though agnostic
hated how Hazel was shunned at work
and ridiculed.
Black and Pentecostal.
Two strikes too many against her
in a white blue collar crowd.
So my mother searched her closet for a
go to church dress.
People did that back then
and asked me if I wanted to join her.
Hazel hugged me.
The way people hugged each other today.
Warm and close
Like the hand on my shoulder.

Hugs and blessings - S.
Sveta, I so appreciate that.
Bob, I met your mother through you, and through Tonia, and loved and respected her. That she lived by great truths shows clearly and always will.
Aaron, thank you.
Roy, have a great day.
.
Tonia, yes she would have. She would not have kept a dry eye. You saw me yesterday. and so you saw her.
I know Debbie that you were inspired by the day's wonderful events. Thank you for giving this to us.
Thank you for coming. As you know, I was thinking also of you when this was written.
Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
