Why Is It That The Few Times We Have Plans There's Other Things Going On Too? (mini Rant with funny crane photo, LOL)

Have any of you ever noticed that the few times there's an event you want to go to that there are other events on that SAME DAY? Why can't they be spread out over several days? Grr.

First we had planned to go to Pagan Pride in Madison, then we learn that the Crane Member day is that same day when they open up CRANE CITY - SEVEN buildings off limits to the pubilc that house 100 additional cranes. They only open Crane City up ONE TIME A YEAR to MEMBERS ONLY, and of course it's the same day we planned to go to Madison.

THEN I see there's a kid's celebration at Borders that SAME afternoon, and for once we WERE planning to go to Borders on that day... but probably not during those hours.

Why, why why does this all have to be on the same day? :(
