I like the visual humor here, the jump from the tactile feel of the sweater to the swoop of the eagle for the lambswool. You are the undisputed master of the rictameter on Gather, Jim, though I think Umar gave you a run for the money! This was a very enjoyable read.

You knit together the joy and awe of sights that delight and amaze at the same time. This is fantastic. The cables protect from gravity. the wool from cold and cable. The cables keep you anchored to rock, but the condors release your mind to its soaring heights. Love reading you, Jim.

OOOOWWWW ! What a loving, warm, sweetly thought out hug - of wool. And just think of that little alpaca giving up her fibers just to keep your beloved warm! And that quick and clever little Peruvian woman weaving it into that interesting design....

Jim, you've done it again! A good read, a fun rictameter, plenty of layering ( how's that for a little pun?)
