Down in Louisiana, my feet enjoyed the comfort of the front porch railing. My toes greeted the rising and sinking bayou suns. All summer, they lived unencumbered in flip flops. Summer magnolias faded. Figs rotted and fell to the ground. Duck weed choked the bayous. The autumn fog chilled the air.

My toes flew back to California.

No Culture shock. The water is only a bit colder. Salud.

Talking to your toes to find out how they like the environment? I lie that. I go barefeet a lot. I believe in touching the earth.
Who's that ballet dancer crossing thre lawn?
Thanks Miz Tonia and Miz Lynn
thanks Lisa and Wiaka.
Salud.
great
For some reason, I don't hate feet that are shod in sandals nearly as much as I hate bare feet.
Not that you have ugly feet. They're just.................feet.
barefoot is the best...
Blessings...
thanks for all your sweet comments...
Madame Donna C. loved your article about visiting Tom Gerace...
Thanks Miz Stephanie - oops I have to go and visit you.
Awww now Ina - don't be a spoiled sport - I thought you'd love feet! lol Salud.
sssssssooooo....how's your poor old toes healing, lady?? my feet are happiest when my toes are free to wiggle and scrunch up the carpet or grass. although...when my family moved to Arrizona (from Chicago) I was shocked to see my new friedns standing barefoot on the pavement in 115 degree heat. I could hardly tolerate the heat that came up through my PF Flyers!! These kids were born in AZ and grew up developing touhg feet and I was still a sissy little girl from "back east". Never did get used to it...and for the past 35 years, California has been my home - and much more "feet-friendly"!
Great story....and terrific toes, Mariana! Blessings, friend.
Adored your barefooted photos, which is the best state to be in, as far as I'm concerned................
Who knows what them well traveled toes knows!
