Jack-O-Lantern
Pointed hat
Bones a-dancing'
Vampire bat

Ghostly faces
Golden moon
Goblins prancing
On Witches broom

Car doors slam
Darting feet
Doorbell rings
Trick-or-treat

Jack-O-Lantern
Droopy hat
Bones a-draggin'
Maskless bat

Childrens faces
Setting moon
Tired and yawning
None too soon

This is just a light poem for Halloween.  Constructive criticism is always appreciated.

Serina, I'm from the redneck, hillbilly part of Alabama, the northwest corner.

I don't have any little ones to trick-or-treat with anymore either, but I always remember those days each year when Halloween draws near. That is how this poem popped into my mind and I had to finish it by writing it down.

Halloween does tire quickly doesn't it? Well done!!!! I can just see these kids, hungover from too much sugar, dragging their asses back home. Kinda reminds me of.....oh well, ya know.....
