I Had A Thought

I had a thought

But now gone

A good one too

Vanished! Like never known

Power of thought

Mix in stress

A dash of confusion

Where goes your success?

Isolated conclusions

Stalled imaginations

Rejected logical inflection

Yelling causes stagnation

Thoughts of reflection

Attacked by chaos

Neurons firing wrongly directed

Peculiarity not at loss

I had a thought

I think theoretical

Recollection of quenchless thirst

Only abstract and hypothetical

I had a thought

Impish it felt

Like bubbles in my belly

And ice cream starting to melt

I had a thought

I believe

Now all fuzzy

So I grieve

Very...cool...i have many thoughts go denied...because my brain was retired and refused to try, i coaxed it and nursed it but still the thought hid,,,,deep in my body lost like a twig....then in a moment the thought tried to get out...only to find there was no one about....i grabed for the pen to write it all down...but alas it was dark and my spelling unsound...

This was great, Lucinda, and I have so many times like this it's scary. When I'm tired and stressed I have trouble even thinking of words never mind whole thoughts.

Lucinda - I really enjoyed this and can relate to the thought thing as I forgot what I was just thinking but I did like all the imagery that's popped into my 430 in the morning brain! Really good one! Thanks - now, let me go find that thought that's hanging out in an unfinished dream - ! Salud,
