Home & Garden Quilts:
Quilt Month at the Alexandria Museum, April 2006
--
Alexandria is a small community just a few miles down the road from where I live. It was featured last week in my "I Show You" column. This week I'm sharing pictures from the Quilt show currently being held at the museum.
Enjoy !!

amazing photos. there's a new kids picture book out, called show way, about underground railroad quilts. it is wonderful.
these quilts you have pictured are so detailed and full of work, and love. really amazing. thank you so much for sharing it with us!
Jessie - Glad you liked the cinquain. Feel free to use it anywhere you like. The quilts pictured are only half of what was displayed at the museum. Additionally, the community had quilts on display at the library and the bank. Alexandria, apparently, has some active communitarians.
Donna - Hey sweetie. Glad you like. Thanks for blocking that nasty window glare for me. Where shall we go next?
Hi Cindy - Glad you made it. Don't feel alone. Gather has been slow and quirky for most of my day. Glad you liked the article. It's your fault I'm writing cinquains. :-D
