We are fortunate enough to live just a few miles from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. If you haven’t made it to Pensacola Beach before, I suggest you do! The sand is white, and there aren’t so many shells that your feet get torn up walking across the beach. Plus, it’s a frugal day since parking and beach access are free! You don’t have to spend any money at all as long as you remember to bring plenty of sunscreen, drinks, and food!
Since we have friends who live out at the beach, going there for the day is a day trip we take fairly often. Little Miss enjoys playing in the sand and splashing in the water, although she isn’t a big fan of the waves! If it’s too crowded at the beach, we head to the pool and relax there. After a long day of playing in the sun and the water, we usually throw some food on the grill for dinner and watch the sun set.
This is actually my favorite time of year to make trips out to the beach. The weather is cooler, and it isn’t as crowded. It’s still warm enough to go in the water if you want, but you can also enjoying playing on the beach without getting super-hot.

Little Miss is precious and I am glad you all had a good time.
Of course, we'll always have friends here we can come visit! We're tired of it constantly being hot, and I've never seen a real Fall.
