For 30 days, the Gather Travel Guru made his way around the U.S., providing clues to his whereabouts. Throughout his travels, the Gather audience joined him in a scavenger hunt, guessing where he was from day to day and trivia questions about the area. Below is a list of all of the places he went to:

Day 4 - Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa in La Jolla, California
Day 5 - McHenry Mansion in Modesto, CA.
Day 6 - Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota
Day 7 - Historical Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis, TN
Day 8 – Mine Creek Battlefield in Pleasanton, KS
Day 9 – West Texas Fair and Rodeo and National Center for Children's Illustrated Literature in Abilene, TX
Day 10 – 2008 Red Bull Indianapolis GP at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis, Indiana
Day 11 – Kearny, NJ home of Satriale's, from The Sopranos
Day 12 – The Madonna exhibit at Madame Tussauds in NY, NY
Day 13 – Sears Tower in Chicago (stood on by Christian Bale in "The Dark Knight")
Day 14 – Arcadia National Park in Maine
Day 15 – Ben & Jerry's in Waterbury, VT
Day 16 – American Teen, the movie, and Boondocks Café in Wadena, Minnesota
Day 17 – Pike's Peak in Colorodo. (Sergeant John O'Keefe was known to tell tall tales about it)
Day 18 – Winchester Rotary Apple Harvest Festival in Virginia. (The state's motto is "Virginia is for Lovers")
Day 19 – The Alaska Experience in Anchorage, Alaska
Day 20 – Family Fishing Pond in Columbia Park in Kennewick, WA
Day 21 – International Quilt Study Center & Museum and Buckcherry concert in Lincoln, NE
Day 22 – Randall L. Jones Theatre in Cedar City and My Fair Lady in Salt Lake City
Day 23 – World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, GA
Day 24 – Revolution ride at Dorney Park in Allentown, PA
Day 25 – Kingscote in Newport, RI. The city is the birthplace of actress Mena Suvari
Day 26 – The Mobile Saenger Theatre in Mobile, Alabama
Day 27 – The International Rose Test Garden and Tower of Cosmic Reflections in the Portland Classical Chinese Garden in Portland, OR
Day 28 – Idaho Potato Museum in Blackfoot, Idaho (once known as Grove City)
Day 29 – Nicholas Sparks book signing in North Carolina, home of the Carolina Panthers
Day 30 – The Aerosmith inspired Rock 'n' Roller Coaster in Disney World in Orlando, FL
Each day, the first respondent with the correct answer as well as one random participant received Gather Points. Every participant who provided at least one correct answer throughout the journey was put into a drawing to receive a $100 AMEX gift card. (I didn't get to go this year but am planning to meet my California cousin in Las Vegas next year....so if the card doesn't expire by then, most likely I'll be using it there).
