You should visit Shiloh, too. It's about two hours east of Memphis.

I did take pictures and I thought I saw something in the house foundation, but it could be pattern recognition or matrixing....I am not sure. When I get home I will analyze them more.

I didnt see any spirits, but felt in the picnic are as if we were watched.

I would love to visit Shiloh, ..I almost drove thru Tenn this trip!

It's amazing to visit spots like those. It's heart-breaking to think of the agony and the loss of life at places like that.

You could make Shiloh on your Vicksburg trip by just going a few miles out of the way.

That sounds very cool, battle fields almost always have spirit activity, traumatic deaths tend to do that :( It would be a cool place to try to get some night pictures

I've toured several Revolutionary and Civil War battlefields here on the East Coast. I've been to Washington's Crossing, Trenton, Princeton, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Spotsylvania Courthouse, Antietam, Manassas, and Gettysburg. I have never been to Petersberg. But I am certain to go now. The one thing I've noticed at every one of these battlefields is that my mind has a difficult time justifying the beautiful surroundings with the horrors that occurred there. I also notice that there are some places (like Bloody Lane at Antietam) where I cannot be without experiencing a strange electricity that enters through the soles of my feet. It is such a horrifyingly trajic feeling that I have to move away at once. It's very much like a fight or flight feeling. I also felt energy at Stonehenge, but it was a much more benevolent and peaceful energy.

Amanda, that's an idea for a future trip down south...I might be missing that Myrtles portion on this trip...How can I ask my daughter to go when she has so much to do.

Lilith, I have gotten to a few confederate cemeteries.
Debra, I have felt that "electricity" on the Gettysburg field by the VA Monument. I have been to Fredericksburg, Yorktown, Gettysburg, Valley Forge, an a few forts. I might have been to more but I am too tired to think of them!
