Contests to Win a Camera

My digital camera died (costs more to repair than to replace) and my film slr needs some repair work, so I am currently without a camera.  Until I can save enough for a new point and shoot, I have been trying to find contests that offer camera's as prizes to enter (I've had pretty good luck with sweepstakes, especially since my previous digital camera was a sweepstakes win).  If you know of any good contests, please let me know!

Also, let me know what camera you would recommend as an inexpensive point-and-shoot digital.

I have a Samsung point & shoot digital camera that had great reviews on Amazon.com, but I have had so much trouble with it, I wouldn't recommend it. I've had so much trouble downloading pictures to my computer. I think I finally solved that by getting a USB connected card reader. It has a great zoom lens--the best I saw on an affordable camera, but for all the trouble its been, I don't think I'd recommend it.

I have a Panasonic DMC-FZ7 that I absolutely love! Got it on e-bay for a great price!

Any Nikon, Canon or Olympus in your price range will make you happy.
Kodak is not a good choice even if they promise more features.

If you go to Sweepstakes Online, they break their sweepstakes down by category or you can do a search for digital camera, and it should bring up all the sweepstakes they have for them.

Check out Pentax K10D - price dropped to $650 after rebate, and it's a semipro level camera (if looking for a digital SLR), comparable to the $1200-1500 range digital SLRs, for about half the price.

I like our Cannon point and shoot. It has an image stabilizer in it which has helped me alot.
