Wow that is a wonderful opportunity

Looking forward to seeing this film, the events behind the story are so heart-breaking. I think a lot of people tend to forget how dangerous it is to be a journalist today. So many have died in Iraq or covering the war on terror.

I am thankful to all who have lost their lives fighting for freedom. It comes at a great cost. I look forward to seeing the movie.

I think the film will be very interesting.

This is a heart wrenching story. I hope they did it justice.

It's good that they have Angelina Jole. She can certainly be a great actress. Here's hoping that the movie came out well.

I'm not going to enter, but this is a contest well worth entering. I will read Ms. Pearl's book. I've wanted to for a long, long time.

I have read all the reports as the tragic incident happened and I remember how disgusted we felt that some people don't have any consideration or value for human life. Mrs. Rearl has undergone a lot of suffering and to account it in a memoir or a tale is not easy. Hats off to the brave lady.
I will definitely enter this contest, not to win but to participate in such a contest is a great honour. Thank you for the opportunity.

Bravo to Mariane for writing about Danny and keeping his legacy alive; not only for her son but as a reminder to us all of the sacrifice Danny made, not to the so called "freedom" that masks democracy's effort towards world domination, but to remind us all of how fragile and remarkable life can be. Angelina Jolie was a brilliant choice to portray Mariane. Both women represent positive examples of humanity! They are wonderful examples of what feminism is today -

My father died by an accident of his friend of fourty years no one cared as he was a sufferer of mental illness. I being a sufferer of two mental illness strive every day to keep his memeory alive by lettin others know that the mentally ill should not be ignored nor forgotten they can be amazing people as my father was. Every day since his death a movie or somthing hesaid will be repeated and reming me of his intelligence and wit.He was like a gentleman geniusand kind as many of his patients would attest to. I miss him every day. A light is missing and I try every day to get it back!

I appreciate the subject matter of this contest. I think it honors those who have passed. I also appreciate that Gather has ways for individuals to get help if they need it to enter the contest. Thanks for listening.

I would like to let you know about two women who are near and dear to me and as long as I live they will be more than memories to me. My mother Marzel Jamerson and my wife Alicia. If ever I had to pick a person in my life to have taught me how to be never giving up it would be my mother. In all ways and some my wife is the splitting image of my mother. They both are pack rats, they are both kind and loving and they both mean the world to me. I can't live without them and I know that I will never be without them. They both see me through each and every day and as far as my nights as I fight the demonic forces that creep in the dreams of the righteous, they help me fight the battles of forgivingness and help me to make it to the next day. LOVE could never be shown that can match their LOVE for me. It is just like knowing that GOD has given HIMSELF to me in these two ladies, correction ANGELS.

Yes, the Iraq war is a mishandled mess ... but look at this case of Daniel Pearl, murdered just to be hateful and cruel, for no military or strategic purpose.

Look at a system, Fascist Islam who exalts and glorifies this kind of life, especially against Jews, Americans and Westerners, but also against Buddhists in Thailand, Hindus in India ... a way of life that has one goal to hate, fight, abuse, terrorize, kill and exterminate not only everyone not under submission of this sick system, but the very will of a human being to think for themselves and be free.

There have been so many Danny Pearls, I can just hope that we can all stand up and stomp the evil enemy who would do this and threaten people with this kind of treatment unless we submit to its sick rules.

I just hope dislike of George Bush does not alter our course of soften our resolve to stand up for the all of the possible Daniel Pearls.

Daniel Pearls had great potential as a journalist ....Its sad how his life was cut short suddenly...My heart goes out to his wife and young son....Life is never fair when other people are holding the deck in there hands.
