The Make Travel Relaxing Guide
| Relaxation day– Once you arrive at your destination, make sure to take a relaxation day to unwind from your travels and prepare for the excitement still to come! Read, head to the spa – just relax!!
| Enjoy the view –When traveling, make sure to stop and take in everything around you so you truly appreciate it. Think photographic memory.
| Take the unbeaten path –Don’t be in such a rush to get to your destination. If you can, take the longer route and enjoy the trip.
| Pack a bag of essentials –Only you know what helps you relax at home, so bring those things with you! Whether it’s a special tea, lotion, candle…throw it in a bag and bring it along!
| Turn off the cell phone –No cell phones! The idea is to get away from everything! Enjoy the electronic-less time you have.
| Keep a journal–Trips always go by too fast, so try to keep a journal of everything you do and see. It’ll help you really appreciate your experiences!
| Eat healthy –Just because you’re on vacation doesn’t mean your body is. Try to maintain a healthy diet as you do at home so that you can feel fresh, well-rested and ready to sight-see!
| Prepare! Prepare! Prepare! –Make sure to have everything ready for your trip the night before. Keep a list of everything you need to pack. Plan extra time for travel. One of the best ways to make travel less stressful is to cover all of your bases before you go.
| No kids allowed –If you can swing it, try to take a trip once in a while without the little ones. We all know that family travel can be fun, but it’s also important to have some “me time” and relax that way!
| Take your shoes off –When you finally arrive at your vacation, before you do anything or go anywhere, take off your shoes and sink your feet into the carpet. It’s guaranteed to help you relax.
