I've always loved to have my hands and feet massaged, but lately, I 've been making a concentrated effort when I have a specific health challenge going on to massage certain areas. Usually I end up just rubbing the palms of my hands when I feel queasy or stressed- but did you know:
That squeezing the tips of your fingers can help relieve a headache?
Massaging the middle parts of your fingers and top of the palm of your hand can relieve neck and eye strain due to computer usage?
Massaging lower down in the palm of your hand can relieve back and hip pain?
I mainly use Reflexology of the hands, but I do have a roller that I roll around on the soul of my foot every once in awhile. You can also use a golf ball to roll between your hands or feet. I happen to have a larger massage ball that I use with 'spikes' over it to relieve tight muscles. This technique is very powerful in that just rolling the ball over the muscles lets the fascia ( The white filmy tissue over the muscle ) release. When fascia gets too tight, it restricts movement of the muscle ( Think really tight saran wrap over a muscle) and eventually can pull your body out of alignment.
I have read many books about this, but I like the 'package ' the best. This one happens to be 'Total relfelxology' by Kunz. They give you the roller, the book, gloves, guides and even a golf ball! I found mine at Barnes and Noble- but I bet Border's has it too!
Try it now! Take a minute and give your hands a little massage. I bet you feel better already!

She had two charts for detecting health ailments. The eye chart and the foot chart. Just from looking at the pupil of my eye she could tell I had a cold coming on. She also told me whenever I had a headache to massage my big toe to get rid of it.
I actually told a neighbor about it and she rubbed her sons feet. They were calmer and the youngest one was less colicky.
My daughter moved my book. I pray she finds it soon. I lived by that book for months and was less in pain and everything. I need to find it again.
I am off to bed now. Be sure to let me know how you trip to CVS turned out. :)
I bet it does help.
I am behind in comments, but I wanted to let you know I stopped by to view your content and thank you for posting to I was bored :)
