.
It is with great sadness that I announce to all my friends and faithful readers here on Gather that it's time for me to go. I'm making a clean break, so you won't be finding any more of my poems here. I'll leave up the last one posted, plus all my articles on poetry written while I was with Gather Essentials for a week or so. There are many reasons, but, for the most part, I need to concentrate on writing and putting together my poems for publication. Posting them in an online community such as Gather has been great fun for me, and I've learned a great deal form so many of you. But it gets a bit complicated when you're trying to submit and produce books.
I would love to keep in touch with anyone who's interested. You just need to subscribe to my poetry blog, Thirteen Blackbirds, found here: Thirteen Blackbirds
Also, if you'd like to keep up with my poetry publications, just let me know by emailing me at: enudelman@msn.com
My first book of poetry is now available from the publishers, Pudding House Publications; you can order it from them directly (Pudding House Publication/81 Shadymere Lane/ Columbus, OH 43213) or, for a limited time, order from me and I'll inscribe a copy for you ($14 ppd).

Finally, let me just thank all my friends here, too numerous to mention, and I don't even want to try to single out anyone in particular. It's been a great experience, and I do hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Edward D. Nudelman

Good luck to you ed. You were one of my first gather pals, and while I may not have always read your poetry, know that I hold you and your talent near to my heart. I will keep an eye on the local book signings in the future, asd I'm sure you will be doing many of them as your success skyrockets.

Hey Eddie,
Well, you and I will always be in touch; all, we have known each other for 3 and 1/2 years already, having joined this joint within days of each other.
I look forward to buying NIGHT FIRES.............
Many Blessings in life
I wish you well. When something of joy becomes a chore, then it is time to leave.
Good luck with your endeavors. :)
We'll miss you, but I can't blame you if it's time to press on. Wish you the very best of luck Ed.
I will be ordering NIGHT FIRES soon. From you, of course, I want it signed to prove I knew you when......
Best of luck, you are right to make this decision. See you on the blog.
sorry to see you go. best of luck, man.
The Internet, alone, can eat up so much of a person's time, so I completely understand why you're choosing to get off the bus and walk. The bus only goes where the driver takes you. If you're walking, you can go wherever you choose. It's your journey and one only you can take. I hope you find your destination to be as rewarding as you imagine. :-)
Going to miss seeing you but I understand. Good luck to you
Gather won't be the same without you Ed, but I'm glad that we can keep in contact with one another through other channels. Best of luck with your poetry book and I know that there will be many more poetry books to come!
Do what is best for you
sad to see you go hope you succed greatly with all your publishings
Bye Ed. Good luck.
You've been a formidable teacher to countless numbers of students and friends at this site. May you prosper in your new venture with the knowledge that your work will continue to touch many lives through the power of the written word. Thanks, Ed, for instituting a library of stellar poems, each one an inspired gift of immense character and considerable perception.
Happy trails, Edward. We're all very proud of your accomplishments and appreciate everything you've shared with us over the past few years. We've learned so many things from you about expressing ourselves in words, and many more things that words cannot even come close to saying. "Thank you" is the best that I can do!
I'll always remember you and your work. Maybe someday we can give a reading together!
Thanks so much for these great comments, and I remember nearly everyone above; of course, I have made some very close friends here, some having met in person when we used to have those quirky reunions (Kathryn.... nudge, nudge!)... and by the way, you're comment, Kathryn, made me realize, IT HAS BEEN 3 1/2 years... omg, it's true. I came on very nearly at the same time as Kathyrn, and many of you above (John Walter, Nathan and many before that!). I remember back in early 2006 we thought Gather would change the world. In fact, it probably has, in its own way. After all, the world is you and me, right?
I was going to comment even beofre I sawe my name. Are you saying I am "quirky"...?
No. You said the reunion was "quirky." It was and a lot of fun. How those 3 and 1/2 years have FLOWN...
best wishes to you!
I certainly understand where you are coming from. Thanks so much for making me see poetry differently when I first came to Gather. I read your tribute to Molly on the blog (but couldn't comment) and now that my own pup is 13, it was even more touching. I hope things have gone well with the new pup.
Best of luck to you. Sorry to see you go but it seems to be the best choice for you. I hope you get everything you want in life. :)
Somehow I always thought that when I finally made my way back here, I'd find you.
good luck ed i love you. do it
I wish you great success with your poetry publications. You were a great gather asset!
Hey man, it's a good thing to keep moving...and grooving to your own music. Poets never die, but watch them fall from bad to verse.
I wish you the best.
Best of luck in the future. You were one of my earliest connections here. I haven't been around too much lately myself.
You will be sadly missed here at gather, and it will be hard to go through a week when your poetry no longer putss a smile on my face when I gather, But When I need a puick me up I will drop into your blog, good luck with your books, maybe someday I can say I knew you when!
I'll miss you but a very exciting reason! Best oof luck!!
Good luck to you! You've been a huge help to me here and a very big inspiration.
Oh Ed, we will miss you dearly. GOod luck and happiest of life !!
I remember Molly's story ;( Best of luck to you!
Good luck, Ed. Be in good health and cheer always.

The little Computer Bunny
Best wishes and good luck!
Wishing you much success 9n all your endeavors, and many wonderful adventures, too.
Sorry to see you go.
Ed, the best of luck in your new endeavors and thank you for all the wonderful words and explanations of poetry.
I've started writing a few of my own recently. Something I thought would never happen. I'm blaming you.
Take care.
Sorry to see you go. Best wishes to you!
ed please, please, please stay in touch with me too, you have been my rock and anchor just like Kathryn for quite some time now and I don;t want to lose your friendship, my email address is: winterose@videotron.ca
Ed....from the moment I first read your work, I knew that you would
be an enormous spark in Gather's earliest goals to encourage gifted
writers to publish and educate and encourage each other through an
online vehicle. Gather has created long-lasting friendships and has also
been responsible for countless collections of original poetry and essays,
amongst which I will always count yours in the finest I have been gifted
to read. You created a magnetized following from the start and your exceptional
work and dedicated and enthusiastic efforts to help others have truly helped
create Gather's very finest presence. I applaud your new publishing efforts and thank
you for all of your support here for my v..e...r...y slowly maturing poetic
scribbles. Hugs to you....and I'll be a follower wherever you go.
Ed, I'm going to miss you on gather.
Good luck, Ed. I know what you mean about the complications for publication.
that's so sad that you are leaving. I enjoyed your poetry very much. Wishing you the best.
Good luck, Ed. May you find great success!
Best wishes!
Best of luck Ed, I know you will do well. Take care now...
Ed
All the best. I have always found your work and your life to be inspiring. I am confident that great success awaits you, and that you will look back on you Gather days with fondness. You have been a force here, and will not be forgotten.
Blessings on all you do Ed, you are truly one of the best. We'll all be following you, I'm sure. Take care and the best of luck to you.
Thanks so much for all your well-wishes; Laura (M), you've been there from the start and been a constant source of encouragement. Your art is just stunning, and your poetry has really shined as you continue to develop and mature as a poet
And so it goes.
Congratulations, Ed, on Night Fires; I am looking forward to reading it as soon as I get my copy. Your sometimes imposing figure here has been an inspiration for so many writers and your words of criticism, encouragement and praise have helped to guide that inspiration. Thanks for all of it, and best of luck as you take your next steps.
Good luck and all the very best!
very best of luck!
Sunny Fields ahead for you, dear Ed.
I'm not sure I understand exactly why you have to go, but I wish you luck. Goodbye.
bye bye
butterfly
I'll buy the book
by and by
inscribed by you
but I'll not cry
nor say adieu
still
All at Gather
Will miss you!
Ed, so sorry to see you go, but I completely understand. As wonderful as Gather is, finding time to participate is a problem. I wish you the very best of future success and thank you for your words of encouragement.

Many successes to you , sir. Lonnie Ray Fowler
Good Luck in the future Ed....
I'm sad that you are leaving. But, understand why. I wish you luck and God speed friend.
You were my first ever gather friend. Sad to see you leave, but I'll continue to follow your blog.
Check back for a look see now and again, you don't have to tell anyone and looking is free! LOL
Yes, I definitely will be checking back, Georgiana. Thanks to all my friends here at Gather!
I wish you all the best, Edward!
Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta go!
Good Luck Edward!
Good luck Ed, but I'm afraid you're going to have a tough time leaving. This place is like Hotel California, you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.
(cue awesome guitar solo outro).
Seriously though, good luck in your pursuits.
The very best to you, Ed. Peace.
Good luck in your pursuits.
Gosh, it's been so long since we've been in touch, Ed. I'm rarely at gather anymore myself as my life has gotten crazy busy (in a good way). Sounds like things are going well if you are leaving Gather to focus more on your writing. :-) All the best to you, Ed, in life and in everything you do. Hugs.
The best to you in your endeavors.
