I saw you
Just the other day
Although you couldn't have a known it
It was in a dream, I think
At least I had thought I was dreaming
Or maybe just waking
In that early morning hour
When awake and asleep merge in mists of dream
I saw you
You were looking away,
Calm but expressionless
Then you turned your face
And saw me
A smile came on your face
It made me smile back
A flash of sunlight sparkled from your eyes
And made your smile even brighter
I saw you
And it made my day
But you couldn't have known it
It was just a dream, I think
